Piemonte will be offering two-year-olds by such proven and promising stallions as Act Of War, Admiral Kitten, Captain Of All, Crusade, Duke Of Marmalade, Elusive Fort, Flying The Flag, Global View, Red Ray and Toreador -to name but a few, and there is something for every buyer on offer in this imposing draft.

Dynasty’s Cape Guineas winning son Act Of War has made an excellent start to his stud career, and the sire of high-class filly War Of Athena has three in this draft. His trio includes Firmino (Lot 29), a colt whose dam is a half-sister to the five time winning dam of smart performer Before Noon, and Il Lungo (Lot 384). The latter is a colt whose three time winning dam is a half-sister to KwaZulu-Natal Stakes winner Running Wild.

Admiral Kitten, a G1 winning son of multiple champion US sire Kitten’s Joy, is represented in this draft by Fioralba (Lot 338) -a filly out of a full-sister to G3 winner Subastador and half-sister to the aforementioned Act Of War, while Gaetana (Lot 150) is a Duke Of Marmalade half-sister to four winners and this filly is bred on the same cross as French Oaks winner Star Of Seville!

Champion Sprinter Captain Of All’s sole offering is Mia Fiore (Lot 102) -a filly very closely related to G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery winner Wheredowego, while deceased G1 Middle Park Stakes winner Crusade is responsible for Faustino (Lot 388) -a colt out of Var’s In Full Flight Handicap winning daughter Wishful Eye.

Galileo’s well performed sons Flying The Flag and Global View are both multiply represented in Piemonte’s draft. Flying The Flag’s trio include a filly (Lot 85) out of a daughter of dual G1 winner Duchess Daba as well as a colt (Lot 194) whose eight time winning dam is a half-sister to the speedy, stakes winning dam of promising three-year-old Hyde Park.

Last season’s Leading First Season Sire Global View has two on offer in this consignment. Elisa (Lot 215) is a filly from the same family as last season’s Cape Guineas winner Kilindini, while Bella Musica (Lot 229) is a filly whose winning dam is closely related to champions Horse Chestnut and Monyela -to name but two.

Proven G1 sire Toreador is represented here by Ladonna Mia (Lot 250), a filly out of a full-sister to G3 winner and former record priced yearling buy Wonder Lawn, while Fillipina (Lot 268), a filly from the first crop of Mercury Sprint winner Red Ray, is another from the same family as Horse Chestnut, Monyela, Temple Grafin and Sport’s Chestnut.

Other appealing lots in Piemonte’s draft include Giambattista (Lot 278), a Wylie Hall colt from the family of top class sire Alzao and US champion Tom Rolfe, and Il Padrino (Lot 302). The latter, bred on the same cross as top-class racemare Fort Ember, is an Elusive Fort colt out of G1 Thekwini Stakes runner up Silent Call -herself a daughter of the highly successful Kahal.
