The current lifetime statistics of some of our sires standing in KZN, courtesy of www.arion.co.nz as of 13 November. Whilst some of these stallions may not be considered commercial at sales, they still produce multiple winners on the tracks where it matters most – and the likes of Just As Well, Mambo In Seattle and Crusade cannot be ignored. Kildonan had five winners last month from small numbers.

They are currently reading as follows:

Bezrin – 51% winners to runners

Brave Tin Soldier – 46% winners to runners

Crusade – 44% winners to runners

Eightfold Path – 42% winners to runners

Irish Flame – 40% winners to runners

Just As Well – 50% winners to runners

Kildonan – 47% winners to runners

Linngari – 58% winners to runners

Mambo In Seattle – 53% winners to runners

The Apache – 54% winners to runners

Last year, 57 #kznbreds earned Black Type for the season 2017 / 2018. Those 57 horses sold for a combined R6,095 000 at sales, including two Gr1 winners.

They earned their connections R31 622 893 at the track, over five times more than what they sold for.

Dont forget the added bonus of the KZN Breeders Race Day, with over R2,6-million to be won for the connections of horses registered with the KZN Breeders Premium Scheme.

Look out for our first yearlings to come in 2019 from the likes of the royally-bred Flying The Flag by Galileo, a full brother to two Gr1 winners; Willow Magic – a Gr1 winning son of Dubawi and the first to stand at stud in SA; Act of War – a Gr1 winning son of Dynasty.

Dont miss out!
