With 13 winners in South Africa so far for the season, Greenstreet Bloodstock’s Crusade, The Byzantine, won his third start in Mauritius. Consistently placing in South Africa with four places from six starts, the Scott Bros-bred The Byzantine is a half-brother to 4-time winner Moon Of Ragoon.

This is the damline of the brilliant Argentine gelding Resfa, who was South Africa’s champion 3yo colt and won at the top level in South Africa and Hong Kong.  Dam Pachouli Moon (Al Mufti) is a winner of the Gr3 Three Troikas Stakes.
