The sale at Suncoast was warmly received, with an excellent crowd of buyers turning out. As was expected, the sale started slowly with a few horses passing through unsold or selling for very little, however things began hotting up, and by 3pm on the first day, Lot 61, a Captain Al filly had sold for R260 000, Lot 92, a beautiful liver chestnut filly from Backworth Stud sold for R160 000 and Lot 96 Windrush filly, selling for R280 000.
The sale finished on Friday.
