The bay son of Linngari and a previous Gr2 winner and Gr1 placed, Garlingari walked away with the Gr3 La Coupe de Maisons-Laffitte on the weekend over 2000m in France.

Well off and leading the peloton, Garlingari showed his grit to the end to fend off an attack from Fastnet Rock colt One Foot in Heaven. His trainer Corine Barande-Barbe spoke of Garlingari’s win, saying he was very happy with the result and the tactics used as the horse needs to have another to challenge in order to win.

Garlingari has now won seventh times from 2000m – 2400m, earning €527,780 in stakes. His other wins include the Gr2 Chantilly Prix d’Harcourt, Gr3 Saint-Cloud Prix Exbury and two other Listed races.
