Clifton Stud have produced six winners so far for September, ranging from Hollywoodbets Greyville and Hollywoodbets Scottsville, Vaal, Turffontein and Flamingo Park, and already earned stake of R721 000 for the season.

Standing sire Mambo In Seattle, he has produced 8 wins to date for the new season.

Michael Roberts Be Happy (Crusade) is now a 3-time winner with five places, over over R240 000 earned for owner Mr T Crowe. The beautifully named Love Awaits You, a daughter of Toreador out of Theta by Kahal, has won and placed from 3 starts for trainer and owner Mr D Cason.

Theta gave Clifton another winner at the Vaal Classic over 1450m – her daughter Golden Spiral produced her second career victory for Diane Stenger and Peter White. Amongst the winners were two half-sisters a week apart, both trained by Corinne Bestel. The Visionaire half-sister Mystic Dreamer won by two lengths in fast time of 56.54 seconds.

Her 3yo half-sister Soiree, by Capetown Noir, won a smashing debut at Scottsville – unlucky Bling A Ding also ran second to her Visionaire half-sister the week earlier! Garth Pullers Double Espresso (Crusade) won his first race after placing on two previous occasions from just five starts.

Congratulations to Peter and Jenny Blyth of Clifton.
