Piemonte Stud’s magnificent Gimmethegreenlight colt topped day one of the #kznbreds at the National Yearling Sale.

The colt named Errore (mistake in Italian as the colt has a story behind him when it was thought the mare wasn’t in foal!)

The colt is out of Five Star Girl by Al Mufti, from the fast family of Al Nitak, The Sheik and The Mouseketeer.

He sold to Inspire Racing for R360 000.

The next highest price was from Bush Hill Stud for the grey Lot 33, by Querari out of the Gr2 winner Go Indigo, sold to Vermaak Equine.

Kalahari Blue is a half brother to grey winner Indy Go, from the family of Tar Heel and sire On Stage.

Piemonte are the leading vendors on Day 1 from KZN, selling 6 lots for R890 000.

Congratulations to all concerned!
