Wendy Whitehead-trained Island Fiesta (Miesque’s Approval – Bermuda Junction by Is It True) won a great race over 1200m at Clairwood Sunday under a determined ride from champion jockey Anton Marcus.
The four time winner, Crissy Sanchez (Toreador – Antonia’s Lass), followed 2 lengths behind in second with Kimberley Classic winner, Count Dumani (Count Dubois – Rosefields), half a nose behind in third.
Congratulations to trainer Wendy Whitehead and owners Messrs LR Whiteford, GS Calway, GPW Davis, T de Charmoy, JI Shaw, Sanjeev Ramsewak and Sanjeeth Ramsewak.
