Snow In The KZN Midlands

Heavy snow-falls have arrived in the KZN Midlands, turning the dry landscape into a winter wonderland. Yellow Star Stud and Rathmor Stud reported thick snow and sent through a few photos.

The foaling season has begun and the mares and new foals will be enjoying their comfortable warm stables until the cold weather has blown over.

A horse with an unusal facial marking of a blaze that started halfway down his nose, his 16hh size was misleading – a compact stallion with mighty hindquarters which he passed onto his progeny, you could easily mistake him for being on the small side until he stood next to you – he was striking and imposing individual who threw good looking and correct foals with plenty of bone and substance, and eye catching toplines.
