| Sansui Summer Cup Grade 1 Final Field |
KZN-Breds feature prominently in the Grade 1 Sansui Summer Cup for R2 Million this year to be run on the 26 November 2011.
Pierre Jourdan, runner-up to Igugu(AUS) in this year’s Vodacom Durban July, will shoulder the biggest weight of 60kgs after winning the Emperor’s Charity Mile Grade 2 over 1600 metres on 5 November 2011 by a length whilst carrying a hefty 61kgs.
The Apache and Dancewiththedevil have been allocated weights of 58.5kg and 58kgs respectively. Smanjemanje comes off an unexpected win in the Grade 2 Victory Moon Stakes and was supplemented into the field on Sunday.
Pierre Jourdan and Smanjemanje might just make it 1-2 for Champion Breeders Summerhill Stud.
