Backworth Stud: “Legs 11 For Forbidden Woods”

Forbidden Woods produced Backworth’s fifth foal of the season last week; her first – a beautiful, leggy filly by National Emblem.

Forbidden Woods, by Fort Wood, is a daughter of Glittering (by Badger Land) who had 3 wins and 11 places in her race career over distances of 1600m to 2200m.

Glittering is an own-sister to The Oaks Gr 2 winner Gleaming Sky. This is also the dam-line of American Black-Type sires’ Lustra, Caerleon, Vision, Merce Cunningham and Old Testament.

National Emblem is the the best classic winning son of National Assembly at stud and is from the family of Pretty Polly, one of the greatest Thoroughbred families in the world.

He is the Sire of Champions Nhlavini, Buy And Sell, National Spirit, sire Rebel King and Carnadore.
