Clifton Double At Hollywoodbets Greyville

Clifton Stud enjoyed a double on the Polytrack at the Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday.

Fashion Mistress, a daughter of Master Of My Fate out of the diminutive multiple winner Fashion Talk (AP Answer) was a a clever pedigree match, loosely based on Clifton-bred Whatalady (Jet Master – Vogue) from the same family.

It is also the female line of the fantastic Prince Of Kahal, Dubai export Fort Vogue. It is also the family of Warm White Night and Highland Night.

The filly is trained by Peter Muscutt and provided him with one of this triple wins on the day, owned by Mr Murugasa.

The next to follow was Double Espresso, the 6yo gelding by Crusade fought on courageously to get his fourth career win under Siphesihle Hlengwa for trainer Garth Puller and owners Messrs G C Kalil, U Pillay, G B Puller and K A Ungerer.

Out of Demitasse by Horse Chestnut, this gelding has a Flying The Flag half-brother on offer at the November 2YO Sale as Lot 143.

Demitasse is the dam of two winners, her dam is a full sister to the multiple Graded Stakes winner Earl Of Surrey.

Clifton Stud have 14 two year olds on offer at the upcoming November 2YO Sale, including siblings to Gr3 Hong Kong winner Chefano, multiple winning sisters Capetown Beauty and Admire Me, a Danon Platina sibling to multiple Listed winner Covered In Snow, a Vercingetorix filly from the family of Harry Hotspur and National Currency, and a What A Winter colt out of Gr3 winner High Seas Beauty.
