EXCITING SIRES FOR BLUE SKY THOROUGHBREDS

Bruce Le Roux and Tinus Gericke’s Blue Sky Thoroughbreds is a growing force in the South African breeding industry.
This fact is underlined by the exciting young sires who are standing at Blue Sky Thoroughbreds this season.

The Blue Sky based G1 Tsogo Sun Sprint winner Chimichuri Run recently had his first mares test in foal, with that blue blooded son of Trippi standing alongside the likes of Hat Puntano, New Predator, and Willow Magic.

Blue Sky Thoroughbreds, whose yearlings fetched up to R1 200 000 at the 2022 National Sale,  will also be represented by the progeny of some exciting young stallions at the November Two Year Old Sale where they will be presenting another quality draft. Among the sires represented in Blue Sky’s November Sale draft are Canford Cliffs, Danon Platina, Erupt, Hat Puntano, New Predator and Master Of My Fate.
However, perhaps the standout lot in this draft is the filly (Lot 4) by sensational sire Vercingetorix, with this filly’s four time winning dam a three-parts sister to former Triple Crown winner Abashiri.

Other star lots on offer include Starlight Fantasy (Lot 37), an Erupt filly whose dam is a half-sister to Oaks winner Veiled Essence, She’s A Beauty (Lot 55), a Canford Cliffs half-sister to the G2 winning dam of recent G3 Hollywoodbets Matchem Stakes winner Trip Of Fortune, and Intuitive Spirit (Lot 187). The latter, a colt by the bang inform sire Master Of My Fate, is a half-brother to two smart winners including this season’s Listed East Cape Paddock Stakes heroine Integrity.

Former Charity Mile winner Hat Puntano is well represented here with his string including a really impressive looking colt (Lot 154) whose twice winning dam is a daughter of G3 Kenilworth Fillies Nursery winner Easyjadeasy and this colt hails from the famed E family.

This draft can be viewed prior to the sale in Block C at the TBA complex in Germiston.
