Piemonte Stud’s brilliant juvenile filly O Tamara has landed her fourth career victory this afternoon at Fairview, taking home the Gr3 Champions Juvenile Cup for her breeder Piemonte Stud from the rest of the boys in the field, showing them a clean pair of heels by over three lengths from Dark Force.

The daughter of Argonaut out of a Spectrum mare named Syncopate is a graduate of the KZN Yearling Sale, where she sold for R30 000. The filly is trained by Alan Greef and owned in partnership with Lee Scribante and his brother, Mr CG Scribante.

O Tamara has yet to be out of the money, placing in the balance of all her starts. Her previous start saw her take home the Listed Ladies Slipper. In four years of breeding horses commercially, Piemonte Stud have achieved much and currently have an impressive statistic of 44.4% runners to winners. Her half-brother by Toreador named Greto, sold for R150 000 at the April National Yearling Sale.

Syncopate, a 3-time winner, is by exceptional broodmare sire Spectrum, in turn out of another brilliant broodmare sire in Caesour. This is the damline of Jet Jamboree, Silver Flyer, Putney Flyer and Love Is In The Air.

Congratulations to all at Piemonte Stud!
