The handsome Trippi half-brother to twice Gr1 winner and sire Rabada, Hurricane Harry, has broken his maiden yesterday over 1400m at Durbanville.

Purchased for the top selling price of R2,3-million from the 2018 BSA Ready To Run Sale by Nic Jonsson for trainer Justin Snaith, the Trippi horse is also a half-brother to grey Glider Pilot who placed in the Gr1 Daily News 2000, a race his Brave Tin Soldier half-brother won.

It was the third start for Hurricane Harry who won over further, after two previous places. This is the family of Naan Khataay and River Tyne.

Rabada is currently welcoming his first foals on the ground this season at Summerhill Stud, and his grey dam Jordie has foaled to Willow Magic this season.

The upcoming BSA Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale takes place 3 November at the TBA Complex, and the 2019 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Cup was announced this week with a stakes increase between the parties Phumelela, Emperors Palace, the RA and BSA to take it to R1-million. The Emperors Palace Ready To Run Cup takes place 2 November.
