Attractive Canford Cliffs juvenile colt Cliff Hanger won on debut for trainer Yogas Govender and owner Mr Ravi Reddy on Wednesday.

Ridden by Billy Jacobson, Cliff Hanger won confidently over 1100m and took home the BSA Maiden Juvenile Plate Bonus of R100 000 for his winning connections.

Out of Var mare Luneberg, a R90 000 purchase off the KZN Yearling Sale at Suncoast Casino in Durban, Cliff Hanger descends from the family of champion sprinter Tommy Hotspur. His second dam is Gr3 victress, She’s A Winner.
