Prominent KwaZulu-Natal nursery, Clifton Stud, will be strongly represented at the upcoming November Two Year Old Sale.

Clifton will be offering a large draft at this year’s auction, headed by two-year-olds sired by all of Crusade, Flower Alley, Flying The Flag, Mambo In Seattle and Master Of My Fate.

The farm’s resident sire Mambo In Seattle is responsible for seven lots in Clifton Stud’s consignment including the well bred filly Ana In Seattle (Lot 113). The latter is a half-sister to two winners notably G2 Charity Mile winner, and millionaire, Bezanova, and further back, this is the same family as former G1 Vodacom Durban July winner, Power King among others. Ana In Seattle also hails from the same family as the Mambo In Seattle sired Oaks Trial winner Bize, making her a very close relative of that filly indeed.

Other notable lots by Mambo In Seattle include Summer Fling (Lot 48), a half-sister to 3 winners including Champion Juvenile Cup runner up Scarborough Fair, Mister Lincoln (Lot 76), a colt from the same family as champions Gabor and Legislate, and Montana Nymph (Lot 136). The latter, a filly out of a three time winning daughter of Kahal, is a half-sister to the very smart performer Royal Wulff and is from the family of graded stakes winners Key Decision and Pass The Line.

Red hot sire Master Of My Fate has two lots on offer -Fashion Mistress (Lot 2) is a filly whose three time winning dam is a half-sister to three graded stakes winners, while Destiny Of Souls (Lot 111) is a filly whose dam is a sister in blood to G1 winner Real Princess.

Iron Fist (Lot 105) is a Flying The Flag colt whose dam is a full-sister to G2 Joburg Spring Challenge winner Prince Of Kahal, while Williamthefighter (Lot 116) is a Crusade colt out of a winning daughter of Irish Oaks heroine Vintage Tipple, and he hails from the same female line as Melbourne Cup victor Vintage Crop.

Last but by no means least, Acacia’s Blossom (Lot 150) is a Flower Alley filly whose four time winning dam (by outstanding sire Hussonet) hails from the immediate family of legendary racemare and producer Miesque.
