Rathmor Stud’s promising young stallion Noble Tune was represented by a second winner from his first crop when the Gavin Van Zyl trained Play Another Tune won a juvenile plate over 1400m at Greyville on Good Friday.

Bred by the Heritage Stud, Play Another Tune was sent off 17-10 favourite for the race and he duly arrived, scoring a facile 2.75 lengths win over stablemate Mr Bombastic.

The gelding, who races for Mr and Mrs Pillay, has now won or placed in all four of his races to date.

Play Another Tune was a R90 000 buy from the 2017 Cape Yearling Sale.

His sire Noble Tune has now been represented by five runners who have won or placed from his first crop of two-year-olds thus far.
