Gold Circle has announced that the stakes for minor races will be increased by 8% in KwaZulu-Natal as from Tuesday, 24 April 2012.
Speaking at a luncheon to launch Champions Season at Greyville on Thursday, Gold Circle’s Chairman, Robert Mauvis, said that he was very pleased that the Company was now in a position to offer increased stakes.
He also announced that the fifth place stake that was done away with when the company was forced to reduce stakes, will be re-introduced at the same time.
Given the KZN Breeders’ recent announcement regarding the exciting Triple Million Challenge, this provides potential owners with much incentive to breed, buy and race horses in KZN, starting with the KZN Yearling Sales coming up 5 and 6 July 2012.
