Bush Hill Stud’s son of King Of Kings, King’s Chapel, has had three winners in a little over a week – including Rhumba Magic who did it in a devastating fashion to win by over seven lengths. Of the three winners, two were bred by Scott Bros.
The St John Gray bred, trained and raced Call To Combat has got his stud career off to a start with a winner at Greyville.
Summerhill Stud’s exciting stallion Traffic Guard came out of the blocks flying when he broke the ice with his first raced runner at Greyville on Sunday. The Kom Naidoo-trained Sovereign Magic built on her three placed efforts with a courageous performance to win the Maiden Juvenile Plate run over 1000m on the polytrack.
Backworth-bred Humidor, the Tony Rivalland-trained Miesque’s Approval gelding, officially lowered Grade 1 winner Kildonan’s 1200m Scottsville course record on Sunday with the yard aiming Humidor at the Grade 1 Tsogo Sun Sprint.
It was a 1-2 past the winning post for Kahal as the Kjell-Foundation-bred Symbolik won the Fairview Mile for the stable of Dorrie Sham, whilst his Stakes winning paternal half-brother Distinguished finished a close second.
