Exciting news as @4Racing annouces the return of the 2024 Highveld Feature Season Awards, set to take place at The Galleria in Sandton on Saturday, 18 May 2024. The awards serve as a way to celebrate and honour the best and brightest of horse racing during the recent Highveld Feature race season which ended last weekend.
Our #KZNBred @Bush Hill Stud dual Gr1 winner, Purple Pitcher is nominated in three categories: Champion Colt & Gelding, Champion Middle Distance horse where he joins the other KZN Raider, the Nathan Kotzen-trained Royal Victory, and the Champion Stayer where he is nominated alongside the talented filly Frances Ethel, whose dam Daphne Garland resides on #KZNStudfarm, Clifton Stud
It is just reward for his heroics this past season, which saw him take the SA Classic and SA Derby for trainer Robyn Klaasen and owner Stinky Pooe, who has brought an injection of vitality and a fresh vibe to horse racing.
