Backworth Stud welcomed the news this week of the arrival of our sixth foal of the season, a lovely colt born at Avontuur Stud in the Western Cape.
By the sire of Variety Club, 2012 Equus Horse of The Year, out of In Camera by Caesour, we’re wondering just how ‘var’st this strapping colt is going to go.
In Camera recorded 4 wins and 2 places over 1200m at 3 to 4. Her dam, Dance Celebre, is an own sister to Silver Stream and a half sister to Dance Along and Consensual.
Consensual is the dam of Give Me Five who recorded four wins over 1160m to 1200m including the Gr1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship, the Gr2 Camellia Stakes and the Gr3 Sycamore Sprint.
