Model K Foals Full-Sister To Mannequin

Recent sale topping broodmare, Model K by Model Man, foaled a big healthy filly by Kahal, Kerry Jack reports.
The filly, bred and owned by Lawrence Wernars foaled down at The Meadows and is a full-sister to Mannequin.
Now a six-year old, Mannequin is a winner of the Banyana Listed handicap and has placed in the Gr 3 Lebelo Sprint and Sycamore Sprint.
She has won 12 races and placed 19 times in total, earning over a R1 million in stakes.
Mannequin was bred by and consigned by Summerhill Stud, selling for just R80 000 at the 2008 Emperors Palace Ready-To-Run Sale.
Model K changed hands for R280 000 at the KZN Mixed Sale held in July.
