Summerhill Stud
Summerhill is renowned for its exceptional facilities, its highly advanced communications and administrative infrastructure, an internationally trained workforce, and one of the finest stock raising environments anywhere in the world.
Besides accommodating a sizeable proportion of the breeding stock of the nation's top owners, more than a third of the farm's resident horse population belong to customers in the United Kingdom, the USA, Australia, France, Japan, Germany, Ireland and Hong Kong.
Three seasons ago, the Summerhill team notched up a new national record of twenty three Feature race victories. In 2005, the record books were re-written as the stud claimed the Breeder's Premiership by a record margin - with a new earnings record and in 2010, Summerhill's earnings for the Championships were more than three times its closest pursuer.
As part of their ongoing commitment to education and training, they have completed their 36th International Scholarship following the return of four of their young Zulu staff from the USA and the UK.
