Just Bluffing, a son of Badger’s Drift, pulverised his opposition in winning the prestigious Grade 1 Derby in Kenya over 2400m today. The highlight and most prominent event at the Ngong racecourse is the annual Kenya Derby which was first held in 1914.

Having never raced further than 1800m, Just Bluffing took up the running on the back straight after breaking from the field by three lengths and going on to win strongly.

Congratulations to owner David Armstrong and Trainer Nur Nuno and Texuanze Karugu.

Badger’s Drift stands at Wood-Moore Manor Stud and has sired Graded Stakes winners such as Grade 1 Champions Cup winner Ivory Trail and Grade 3 Chairman’s Cup winner Hospitality.
