Summerview will be offering two-year-olds by such well performed South African raced stars as Curved Ball and Irish Flame.
Summerhill Sales will be strongly represented at the 2017 National Two Year Old Sale, by no fewer than 33 juveniles.
Bruce and Delia Le Roux’s Spring Valley Stud, responsible for producing such high class performers as July winner Dunford and fellow G1 winners Buy And Sell, Count The Money and Indiscreet Fantasy, will be offering 14 lots at this month’s National Two Year Old Sale. Bruce Le Roux ended the 2016/2017 racing season on an impressive 49% winners to runners ratio.
Lady In Black trained by Dennis Drier remains unbeaten after three starts – winning the Gr1 Thekweni over 1600m on the Greyville turf in the same colours carried to multiple Gr1 success for KZN-born Futura.
Lady In Black is out of Mystery Dame by Jet Master – an astute purchase by Rathmor Stud to bolster the book of Noble Tune, Rathmor sold her Dynasty full brother earlier this year for R1,7million at the National Yearling Sale.
The National 2YO Sale has produced amongst others KZN-breds Gr1 winner and Equus Champion Sprinter Talktothestars, as well as the recent Million Mile (and Stakes winner), Gr1 aimed Matador Man and international globe-trotting multiple Group Winner The Apache, who was famously purchased for R80 000 and earned in excess of R17 million.
