The two year old full sister to Flying The Flag showed plenty of speed to win the Gr2 Debutante courageously over 1400m. Flying The Flag has attracted a top class book of mares – including Look Sharp – the dam of Gr2 winning The Mouseketeer, Plutonium (the dam of Orion Quest and King Neptune), a Gr2 and Gr3 winning full sister to sire Biarritz.

The annual Bush Hill Stallion Day took place on the Friday prior to the Gold Cup race day, and once again it was a magnificent day with over 200 guests present and it was fantastic to have so many visitors from the Cape especially – including Susan Rowett, Mike De Kock, Jehan Malherbe and Jessica Slack.
