Flying The Flag’s younger full sister, already a Gr1 winner, added the Gr3 Alleged Stakes this afternoon at Naas to her impressive winners honour roll. She left the colts behind her, with Gr1 Irish St Leger winner Flag Of Honour finishing second, and Gr1 Irish Derby winner Latrobe in third, making easy work of the soft turf to win by over four and a half lengths.
Noble Tune’s dual Gr1 winning half-brother Honor Code, from the last crop of the great AP Indy, has had his first foal born at Cobra Farm which Lane’s End announced early this morning. Honor Code’s service fee for 2016 and 2017 has been set at $40 000. Noble Tune’s first yearlings go under the hammer this year.
Initially beginning his stud career at Rob and Michele Pickering’s Middlefield Stud in Mooi River, Byword transferred to Mauritzfontein and sees his first crop of yearlings go on sale in 2016 – the first being presented for sale in January at the CTS Cape Premier Yearling Sale.
