Wood-Moore Manor Stud is privately owned by HIH Count & HSH Countess of Königsberg, who focus on selective breeding bloodlines. The progeny are never sold, but rather go into racing, with the focus of being recognised for being superior quality racehorses.

BADGER’S DRIFT 1997 by Badger Land – On The Roof (Thatching), Equus Champion was the foundation Stallion. Due to old age, he has now been retired from active stud duty.

Champion BADGER’S DRIFT’s legacy now lives on with his only active son at Stud PRUSSIAN POWER, who was unraced due to an injury sustained in training, is out of the phenomenal Dam line of PRUSSIA PRINCESS (by GOLDEN THATCH). Prussian Princess is a half sister to IMPERIOUS SUE, ARCSA Champion Older Female in 1997 and the dam of Blue Heather and Imperious Star, in turn the dam of Sunset Tripp and Thumbs Up. This is the female line of Hidden Beauty, Royal Air Force and Imbongi, Spring Garland, Kelly and Victory Moon. Imperious Star, a daughter of Imperious Sue recently sold for R320 000 at the Lammerskraal Stud reduction sale.
