OFF TO ACHIEVE OVERSEAS GLORY

#KZNBred equine superstar Quid Pro Quo will be jetting off to Europe in order to get ready for the 2026 Meydan carnival, as well as a crack at Group One races in both Europe and America.

Quid Pro Quo’s new owner Barry Irwin from Team Valor International has confirmed racing plans for the multiple Grade One winning daugther of Lance. Irwin has had a keen eye for when it comes to winning horses, and some of the great horses that have raced for Team Valor have come from the astute purchases by Barry. Think Gypsy’s Warning, Ebony Flyer, Captain’s Lover, Irridescence and the great Zimbabwean bred Ipi Tombe, and you can see just how much of an expert eye Irwin has.

With export restrictions being lifted, the opportunities for South African horses, and #KZNBred to shine overseas has rocketed up, and at long last the light at the end of the tunnel, is not the train!
