Brave Tin Soldier x Foxy Blonde/Requiem

Summerhill Stud have welcomed four new foals from their elegant stallion, Brave Tin Soldier(USA).

Impeccably bred, by Storm Cat out of Bless by Mr Prospector/Danzig/Halo mare, his first crop of foals are certainly showing their sires's good looks and are exciting prospects.

Bought as a foal for US$3 Million by one of history’s best judges, Brave Tin Soldier certainly justified his record-breaking price tag by winning the Blenheim Stakes Listed at Curragh by 2.5lengths at 2 years old.

His wins also include the Cliff Hanger Stakes Grade 3 at Meadowlands, the CBD World Mastercard Plate at Nad Al Sheba and an Allowance Race in Monmouth Park.

The first foal at the top left is out of a beautifully bred mare Mumtazah. By Galileo out of a Tale Of The Cat/Sir Tristram mare, Mumtazah placed at 3 years old. She hails from the family of Dont Say Halo, a sire in the USA.

The second foal is out of Foxy Blonde, herself by Requiem out of Northern Singer by Northern Guest. Foxy Blonde placed 6 times from age 3 to 6, and her dam Northern Singer had 5 wins over 1000 - 1800m and she placed 12 times. Northern Singer is an own sister to champion stayer, Travel North, and a half-sister to 6 time winning sprinter Rhapsody In Red, as well as 13 time winner Vangelis by Kahal.

The foal to the bottom left is out of Personify, herself by Personal Hope out of Hyperdrive by Plugged Nickle. Personify is a 3 winner at aged 4 over a distance of 1400 - 1600m, she placed 4 times and is the dam of 2 previous foals. Her fourth dam is none other then Party Time, the dam of 13 runners and 8 winners, and is the immediate family of Durban July winner Trademark, Morisco and Jackson Square, to name but a few!

The foal to the right is out of an unraced mare called Angora, By Tamburlaine out of 7 time winner, Please Be True.

Please Be True was a 7 time winner from age 2 to 5 over a distance of 1300 - 1800m. Her wins include the Germiston November Handicap Grade 1, Gosforth Park Fillies & Mares Challenge Grade 1, and she placed 12 times. She is the dam of 7 runners and 6 winners.
