KEIVAN STUD BRING QUALITY QUARTET TO AUGUST SALE
Keivan Stud will be bringing four well bred two-year-olds to the 2021 August Two Year Old Sale.
The four two-year-olds in this draft were sired by Act Of War, Eightfold Path, Elusive Fort and South Africaโs reigning champion sire Gimmethegreenlight respectively.
Book Of Dreams (Lot 41) is a colt by champion Elusive Fort, sire of, among many others, the 2021 G1 Vodacom Durban July winner Kommetdieding.
The colt in question is a half-brother to two smart winners, headed by course record setter and G3 Strelitzia Stakes runner up Captainโs Dream, and his dam is a five time winning daughter of G3 winner Kefaahโs Secret.
South Africaโs Champion Sire for 2020-2021, Gimmethegreenlight, is the sire of the beautifully bred filly Green Bubbles (Lot 45). From one of the very best families in the stud book, Green Bubbles is out of Kenton On Sea, a Dynasty half-sister to the stakes placed Kanara.
Dynastyโs Cape Guineas winning son Act Of War has made a great start to his stud career and he is represented here by a colt (Lot 241), whose Var sired dam is a full-sister to the stakes placed Iron Lady, and his fifth dam is the brilliant Majorca.
Former G3 winning two-year-old Eightfold Path,a son of the legendary Giantโs Causeway, has a speedily bred two-year-old in this draft in the form of a full-sister (Lot 270) to Listed Ruffian Stakes runner up Rabbedoe.
This yearโs August Two Year Old Sale will take place at the TBA complex in Germiston, with the sale set to be held on August 20th and 21st.
