Pleasingly, the Piemonte Stud Grooms Program will also feature in this draft, with the grooms set to consign a striking son of G1 winner Byword in the form of Giacomo (Lot 298) at this year’s Two Year Old Sale.

Lee and Dino Scribante of Piemonte Stud are having an outstanding season, producing 42.6% winners to runners to date, with 90 places and 2 Black Type Winners this season – all from 54 runners with over R2,1-million in earnings. The Piemonte horses can be easily recognised at the tracks, all sporting Italian names.

National Yearling Sale inspectors Kerry Jack and Paddy Kruger have arrived in KZN this morning, on the last leg of their Bloodstock South Africa national inspection tour to score and inspect yearlings for the National Yearling Sale, taking place this year on 3, 4, and 5 May at the TBA Complex in Johannesburg.
