It is with very great sadness that we heard of the passing of Greg Royden-Turner of Roski Stud, who passed away unexpectedly last night in St Lucia.

Greg, a passionate horseman and a strong family man with a sharp sense of humour and always a smile, will be sorely missed.

Currently racing the likes of his Roski-bred Frosty Friday, Cassie O’ Malley and Al Kateece amongst others, Greg imported and purchased a number of well-bred mares including Kahal’s half-sister, and raced horses with great success.

Greg has bred the likes of Dubai winner Journeyman from his picturesque farm in Lidgetton, as well as a Western Winter colt named Chili Affair that sold for R1,2million in 2013.
