The daughter of Galileo and a half-sister to Gr1 Middle Park Stakes winner Crusade, landed the Irish Oaks on her last start and added another Group One to her haul, producing a powerful surge to overhaul Queen’s Trust at the furlong pole and stretch clear for a commanding two-and-three-quarter lengths victory.
The Gr1 Darley Irish Oaks went to Seamie Heffernan-ridden stablemate Seventh Heaven, a half-sister to Gr1 Middle Park Stakes winner Crusade who stands at Scott Bros’ Highdown Stud.

Interestingly, all three siblings are by super-sire Galileo, all in training with Aiden O’ Brien and all owned in partnership by Mrs John Magnier, Michael Tabor & Derrick Smith.
KZN’s Gr1 Middle Park Stakes winner, Crusade lead the first season sires list by aggregate at the Sibaya KZN Yearling Sale, whilst Toreador topped the second day of the both KZN’s top priced colt and filly with prices of R280 000 and R230 000.
