Racing here in KZN is galloping into a new era as significant changes are on the cards to help bring the province up to the same standards of Cape Racing. Subject to certain conditions being fulfilled, the takeover of Gold Circle by Hollywood Sportsbook Holdings group would set up a massive rescue injection of R500 million into the provinces coffers, effectively ensuring the survival of horse racing in the province, along with Gold Circle.
