Leading KwaZulu-Natal breeders, the Piemonte Stud, will be offering a top class consignment at the upcoming National Yearling Sale.
The farm’s draft includes yearlings sired by some of South Africa’s hottest stallions including Gimmethegreenlight, Pomodoro, Var, The United States and former National Sale graduate Vercingetorix, as well as lots by exciting young sires as Erupt and William Longsword.
Some of the potential stars to be found in Piemonte’s National Sale draft include-
Errore (Lot 13) -this son of top-class sire Gimmethegreenlight is a half-brother to two smart winners and his dam is a full-sister to a pair of G1 winners in the form of Al Nitak and The Sheik respectively
Giocatore (Lot 112) -a colt by current leading first season sire Rafeef, Giocatore is out of a stakes placed, seven time winning daughter of multiple champion sire Silvano
Mia Regina (Lot 115) -this Pomodoro (by Jet Master) filly is bred on very similar lines to globetrotting champion sprinter J J The Jet Plane (by Jet Master)
Regina Bellissima (Lot 198) -a daughter of last season’s Champion First Season Sire Global View, this filly is out of a stakes winning daughter of Gimmethegreenlight
Potente (Lot 202) -a son of top class sire Var, this colt is out of a half-sister to globetrotting champion, and successful sire, Soft Falling Rain
Che Vincera (Lot 281) -this Rafeef filly is a half-sister to G3 Champion Juvenile Cup winner O Tamara and three other winners
