Mambo In Seattle continues to churn out his weekly winners, and Sunday saw a double in two countries – both in the last race of the day.

Only Him won the Gr3 Zimbabwe Derby for trainer Bridget Stidolph and owners Newbury Racing. It was the 3rd leg of the Triple Crown in Zim and the gelding was ridden by Teaque Gould over the 2400m. Only Him has yet to be out of the money in all of his starts – winning twice and placing three times.

The 3yo gelding bred by Moutonshoek is out of a Captain Al mare, which is one of the most successful crosses onto Mambo In Seattle.

After placing twice from a handful of starts for trainer Kom Naidoo, Seattle Beat won under Smanga Khumalo at Hollywoodbets Greyville over 2000m, a 3yo gelding out of a Silvano mare bred by Ascot Stud.

Mambo In Seattle is the sire of amongst others – UAE Group Placed Majestic Mambo, Gr1 winner Same Jurisdiction and My Sanctuary, Saratoga Dancer and more recently, Dancing Queen and Odd Rob.

Even better is that she has Al Mufti in her female line, the perfect cross for Mambo In Seattle. This is the dam line of Harrys Charm and National Currency.
