Vodacom Durban July Theme For 2015 Released

Racing fans at the 2015 Vodacom Durban July at Greyville Racecourse on Saturday 4 July can expect a visual voyage of sartorial elegance as the 119th edition of the iconic raceday is staged to a nautical theme of “The Captains Table”.

The Vodacom Durban July draws heavily on horseracing’s deeply-rooted tradition of elegance and chic fashion, and this year will tap into the formal style expected from a dinner at a cruise liner Captain’s Table dinner.

“One of the main considerations when developing this theme was the continued effort to encourage “dressing up” for the event,” said Ken Tweddell, Gold Circle’s Event Marketing Manager.

“We trust that fashionistas and décor specialists will embrace the theme as they always do and we look forward to 4 July and Africa’s Greatest Horseracing Event.
