Bohica 2nd Gr1 4Racing Computaform Sprint
The in-form Capetown Noir saw his handsome son, arguably one of the best looking racehorses currently on the track Bohica, finish a flying 2nd to Cape raider Rio Querari on Saturdays Champions Day – which launched the new 4Racing Operator and officially ended the Gauteng season.
Rio Querari was impressive and gave Justin Snaith his first Gr1 winner in Gauteng, but Bohica was impressive to finish a length off Rio Querari in the exclusive sprint race.
The Azzie trained gelding is out of a Mullins Bay / Model Man mare named Wysiwig – a three parts sister to 12-time winner Mannequin, front the female line of Kalami and second dam Kal Sufi.
Capetown Noir has had 29 wins this season and 4 Black Type winners including Under Your Spell, who was unbeaten from three starts and finished 4th in the Gr2 4Racing Fillies Nursery.
Capetown Noir is based at Lee Scribante’s Piemonte Stud in Summerveld.
Bohica has an impressive chestnut foal colt half-brother by Act Of War at the Wartburg based stud farm of new KZN Breeder, Sandra Trethewey. Wysiwyg isn’t in foal this season and Sandra will be deciding a stallion soon for her for the season of 2022. The mare is currently barren.
