Backworth Stud: Caviar Continues To Impress For Colin Scott

Backworth-bred Caviar (Var – Lewinsky’s Lover) won her second at Scottsville yesterday under jockey MJ Odendaal for Summerveld-based trainer Colin Scott.

Caviar is from the family of Soho Secret; ARCSA Champion Broodmare in 1995, Kings Gambit; Equus Champion Stayer in 2008, London News; ARCSA Champion Three-Year-Old Colt and Horse of The Year in 1995 and Champion Older Male and Horse Of The Year in 1996, and Promisefrommyheart; Equus Champion Three-Year-Old Classic Female in 2004.

This win takes Caviar’s career record to 2 wins and 4 places from 8 starts. Congratulations to owners Rob Scott and the Two Oceans Racing Syndicate (nom Mr K Steinberg).

Caviar is a graduate from the Backworth draft of the 2011 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
