The Backworth-bred 5-year-old mare, Raise The Bar (SAF) (Goldkeeper (USA) – Moving On Up (SAF)), won the Computaform Express Conditions Plate (F&M) over 1450m on the Vaal sand Monday before Christmas under jockey Randall Simons.

Raise The Bar’s second dam is Gr 3 Champagne Stakes winner Eternal Dancer. Raise The Bar is a half-sister to two winners with Cape Town Princess (by Miesque’s Approval(USA)) and Step It Up (by Wind Rush(USA)). Her half-brother Lucky Break, by Muhtafal(USA), sold for R650 000 at the 2012 Emperor’s Palace National Yearling Sale.
