Bush Hill Stud’s promising young sire and former Horse Of The Year Irish Flame got off the mark as a sire when his son Gizmo thrashed his rivals to break his maiden by three and a quarter lengths on Monday.
The Fort’s draft includes yearlings by successful sires Querari and Toreador, and promising young stallions Crusade, Master Of My Fate, Noble Tune and champion first crop sire What A Winter.
“That’s a very very hard pedigree to get into,” said Baccari, who said the partnership could race the colt or resell him. “I happened to see the colt on the farm ahead of time so I had the ability to see what I was going to get into. He’s just a very special horse. Very hard to find that kind of pedigree with that kind of sire power.”
