Hadlow Stud’s Cathy Martin is delighted by the quality of yearling her farm is offering at the 2019 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

Hadlow will be offering a trio of yearlings at this year’s National Sale, with the draft made up of lots by Crusade, Noble Tune and Potala Palace.

Cathy says of her National Sale string, β€œLot 271 is a colt by Crusade out of the Var mare Anatevka who is a winning half sister to 3 Black type siblings. The colt in question is a good size. He is well topped with a strong hind quarter.

Lot 326 is a colt by Potala Palace out of the Irish mare Colchium who hails from the famous Dog Rose family. The colt is very correct and neat. He is a half sibling to 6 winners which include the black type mare Smart Colleen and the internationally preformed Travel Comforts-a winner of 6 races in SA and Hong Kong.

Lot 358 is a colt by Noble Tune out of the 4 time winner Foam Party- a half sister to 7 winners including 2 bold black types. The colt is a big strong horse- typical of his damsire Trippi and he was bred on the same Cross as dual G1 winner Liam’s Map (Unbridled’s Song out of a Trippi mare), who now stands at stud at Lane’s End. β€œ
