This is the family of Computaform Derby winner (Grade 3) Gun Drift, 6-time winner Naan Khaatay and Freedom Fortune to name but a few. Done Roamin’s fourth dam is Majorca, a 7-time winner including the Cape of Good Hope Paddock Stakes (Grade 1) and the JG Hollis Memorial Plate (Grade 3).

Her Ladyship(AUS) has a chestnut foal by Miesque’s Approval(USA). Her Ladyship, an Australian import, is by Cat Bird(AUS) out of Lady Blandford(NZ) by Sovereign Edition(IRE). Her race record is an impressive 7 wins with stakes earned of R334,410 from the age of 3 to 6 and she placed 8 times including a Listed race, The Scarlet Lady. She is an own-sister to Beguiled(NZ), a Grade 3 winner in Australia and a half-sister to Lordship(NZ) – also a Grade 3 winner in Australia.

Imbiba, a half-sister to this year’s Grade 2 Emerald Cup winner The Mouseketeer (himself bred at Bush Hill Stud), has had a lovely chestnut filly by resident stallion Mon Sang(USA). Imbiba is by Modus Vivendi(USA) out of Look Sharp by Northern Guest(USA). Imbiba is unraced, but is a half-sister to 3 winners besides 6-time winner The Mouseketeer, 5-time winner Lt Jerry Mouse and Penthouse Mouse. This is a very strong dam-line and the family includes the likes of Grade 3 winner Try Your Best, who in turn is the dam of Equus 2002 Champion Broodmare Jessamine – herself the dam of a stallion standing at the Scott Brothers Highdown Stud – The Sheik and his full brother Al Nitak. This is also the family of sprinters Red Flyer, Mercury Sprint Grade 1 winner Shoe Express, Art de Vivre and sire Hoofin About. This is certainly a foal to keep an eye on.

Miss Andrea has a Miesque’s Approval(USA) filly at foot. The mare is by Restructure(IRE) out of Madame Caroline by Badger Land(USA) and is a 3-time winner of R139,480 and placed 9 times. She is the dam of Shahruk – by King Of Kings(IRE) – who is a winner and placed from all his starts. This is another mare who descends from a strong dam-line that includes the family of 10-time Graded Stakes winner Count Du Barry and his full brother Duc Du Orleans. More recently, this family has produced Acacia Woodland, Lyrical Linda, Tolme, Lucy’s Lad, Cousin John, Equus Champion Sprinter in 2009 and now sire Rebel King – to name but a few from this strong family. Another very exciting foal indeed.

2-Time winner Royal Triumph – by Kahal(GB) out of Laplander(ZIM) by Inflation Beater(IRE) – has a King Of Kings(IRE) foal at foot. This is the family of Spey Bridge Champion Stayer in 2000 – Timber Tycoon – and his full brother Sweden, Grade 2 winner of the OK Grand Challenge. The mare’s third dam produced King’s Jester who was voted Spey Bridge Champion 2YO in 1986 and Funden Hall – Spey Bridge Champion 3YO Colt in 1988.

There are many brilliant horses in this dam-line and the list goes on – the standouts include another July winner Trademark, Morisco, Jackson Square and New Edition.

Scenic Drive – by Qui Danzig(USA) out of Valley Drive by Elevation – was a winner at 4 and placed 7 times. She has a 100% record as a broodmare, producing 4 foals, 4 runners and 4 winners. Other descendants from include ARCSA Champion 3YO filly Up The Creek, Johnny B Goode and West Cigar.

Stepdanzer has produced a beautiful strong Mon Sang(USA) filly. The mare is a 3-time winner and she is by Qui Danzig(USA) out of Peggy Mattox(USA) by Monteverdi(IRE) – which makes her an own-sister to 11-time winner Q Mattox. His wins include the Durban Merchants Grade 2 and the Concord Stakes Grade 3. This dam-line has also produced sire Wind and Wuthering(USA) who was voted Champion 2-y-o in Britain in 1981. Stepdanzer has produced a 2-time winner by Modern Day(USA) called The King.

Terra Firma by Caesour(USA) out of Land Of The Free by Freedom Land is a winner from only 5 starts. She has an eye-catching foal by Fort Beluga. This is another mare with a lovely dam-line and the family includes Grade 3 Cape Summer Stayers Handicap Golden Oriole, 8-time winner and Graded placed Mantovano, Syon, Noblewood, Hundred Acre Wood, With Pleasure and sire Free Will. This is an interesting mating in that the second dam of Terra Firma, Free Verse is also the fourth dam of Fort Beluga – and with this family having such success with Fort Wood, Fort Beluga seems to be the perfect match here – it’s unfortunate that he passed away earlier this year as his foals this year are impressive. Another exciting foal to keep watch of.

Splitsville – by Badger Land(USA) out of Four Weddings by Foveros(GB) – has 5 wins to her name and earned R299,450 from the age of 3 to 4. She placed 17 times including 3 Listed races.
