EXCITING SIRES REPRESENTED IN BLUE SKY’S NOVEMBER DRAFT

Blue Sky Thoroughbreds (Pty) Ltd will be offering two-year-olds sired by some of South Africa’s most exciting stallions around.

This draft includes two-year-olds sired by the likes of Danon Platina, Lancaster Bomber, Rabada, Rafeef, Querari and What A Winter to name but a few.

Japanese champion Danon Platina is represented here by a colt (Lot 17) whose dam won seven and ran third in the G2 Gold Circle Oaks, while consistently successful sire Querari is the sire of a filly (Lot 101) whose dam won four times and hails from the family of G1 Cape Fillies Guineas winner Indiscrete Fantasy.

Dual G1 winner Rabada has two lots on offer, including a colt (Lot 44) out of G3 Umzimkhulu Stakes runner up Twice As Smart, while the sensational Rafeef’s sole offering is Rafa’s Choice (Lot 35), a colt from the family of champions Better Than Ever, Wavering Girl, Singspiel and Glorious Song.

Lancaster Bomber’s death was a major setback to the South African thoroughbred industry and that G1 winning son of War Front is responsible here for a filly (Lot 51) whose dam is a winning half-sister to Hong Kong G3 winner Chefano.

Buyers can find Blue Sky Thoroughbreds’ consignment in Block C at the TBA Complex in Germiston.
