EXCEPTIONAL NATIONAL SALE CATALOGUE NOW ONLINE

Bloodstock South Africa recently published the catalogue for the 2022 National Yearling Sale, and this catalogue is now available to be viewed online at www.bsa.co.za

South Africa’s premier yearling auction, the National Sale continues to unveil outstanding thoroughbreds year in and year out.

Among the many recent star graduates of the National Yearling Sale are such Equus Champions as Rainbow Bridge, Do It Again, Jet Dark, Hawwaam, Good Traveller, Anything Goes, and Celtic Sea, while the numerous G1 winners sold off this prestigious sale include the recently retired WSB Triple Crown winner Malmoos and the likes of Captain’s Ransom, Eden Roc, Kilindini and Missisippi Burning.

Recent G1 Jonsson Workwear Cape Derby winner Pomp And Power and the likes of fellow graded stakes winning three-year-olds Aragosta, Follow Me, Safe Passage, and Trip Of Fortune, also feature among past National Sale graduates. 

The catalogue for this year’s National Yearling Sale is an exceptional one, with leading South African stallions Gimmethegreenlight (40), Master Of My Fate (28), Querari (25), Rafeef (30), Silvano (23), Trippi (9), Var (9), Vercingetorix (50) and What A Winter (21) all strongly represented.

Excitingly, this year’s auction also includes yearlings sired by such outstanding international G1 winners as Helmet and No Nay Never.

Stallions with first-crop yearlings on offer this year include Danon Platina (17), Fire Away (15), Hat Puntano (1), Heavenly Blue (6), Horizon (4), Lancaster Bomber (33), and New Predator (9).

This year’s catalogue is jampacked with well bred yearlings, with no fewer than 13 G1 winning mares represented on the sale.

Among the G1 winning mares represented on sale are All Is Secret, Bambina Stripes, Bilateral, Imperious Star, Little Miss Magic, Pine Princess, River Jetez, Silver Mountain, Siren’s Call, Spiced Gold, Takingthepeace, Thunder Dance, and Viva Maria.

A further 20 G1 producing broodmares have yearlings on offer -namely Agbalat, Aquatint, Bardot, Bold Nimph, Darling Moon, Grail Maiden, Halfway To Heaven, In Camera, Inner Temple, Ireland, Miss October, Pagan Dance, Pirate Queen, Pretty Waves, River Jetez, Royal Drummer, Spiced Gold, Tinder Box, Townsend, and Young Sensation. 

Another highlight of the sale looks sure to be Hope And Dreams -the Fire Away colt out of outstanding broodmare Halfway To Heaven, the dam of champions Hawwaam and Rainbow Bridge, and dual G1 winner Golden Ducat.
