Equus champion Vercingetorix has made a blistering start to his stud career, and the son of Silvano is represented here by Gaudis Masterpiece (Lot 279), a half-brother to a pair of winners, and this colt’s granddam is none other than G1 Cape Fillies Guineas heroine Igreja.

Cape Guineas winner Act Of War is another exciting young locally bred stallion represented in Clifton’s National 2YO Sale draft. His son Tom’s Act (Lot 275) is a half-brother to five winners, including the stakes placed Dante’s Legacy, with this colt’s dam a half-sister to G1 Cape Flying Championship winner O Caesour.

Galileo horse Flying The Flag has two colts in this draft -including Rare Flag (Lot 72), a colt who  hails from the same family as such international standouts as Dr Devious, Pierro and this year’s Irish Oaks winner Even So, while Breeders’ Cup runner Noble Tune’s two lots on offer include Snow Tune (Lot 385), a half-sister to KZN Yearling Sale Million runner up Dandolo.

Other attractive lots in this draft include Admiral Birnham (Lot 191), a colt from the first local crop of G1 Secretariat Stakes winner Admiral Kitten from the family of legendary racemare and producer Fanfreluche, Wreath Of Roses (Lot 289), a Jackson filly bred on similar lines to Horse Of The Year Legislate, and the unnamed colt (211) by Equus Champion and triple G1 winner Capetown Noir.
