Cathy Martin Voted Vice-Chair of KZN Breeders Club

Cathy Martin with trophy in hand, alongside her husband Jonathan, collected the 2019 KZN Breeders Achievement Award on behalf of St John Gray from Chantelle McCabe and Thabani Nzimande of Summerhill Stud.

Hadlow Stud’s Cathy Martin has been voted in as Vice-Chairlady of the KZN Breeders Club.

Cathy, who has a strong legal background behind her, farms with her husband Jonathan in Mooi River and stands the breeding operation of St John Gray within her own.

St John is enjoying enormous success recently with the likes Christopher Robin, Dawn Assault and Ronnie’s Candy, to name but a few – all born and raised at Hadlow.

They stand stallions The Apache for owner Winston Chow, Bezrin and stalwart Announce on the property.

Ted Hughes will remain Chairman for another year, and thereafter Cathy will be Chairlady for two years according to the Club’s constitution.

Congratulations to Cathy on her new post!
