Leading KZN nursery, the Bush Hill Stud, will be offering 12 classy two-year-olds at the 2019 National 2YO Sale.

The Bush Hill draft includes two-year-olds from the first crop of the regally bred sire Flying The Flag, as well as by such well-established stallions as Crusade, Mogok and Toreador, and the very exciting Dubawi sire Willow Magic.
Flitterbug (Lot 122) is a colt by Flying The Flag out of the smart racemare Flitter, and this colt (bred on the very successful Galileo/Danehill cross) hails from the family of champions Celtic Grove and Marinaresco.

Flying The Flag, whose own sister Magical recently ran second in the G1 Coral-Eclipse to superstar Enable, is also sire of Hoist High (Lot 234), a filly out of an own sister to the stakes placed Oklahoma Sky. This beautifully bred filly is from the same female line as outstanding sire and broodmare sire Pivotal –damsire of Flying The Flag himself!

Dubawi’s G1 winning son Willow Magic is another represented by a filly from his first crop here and she goes by the name of Magic Choice (Lot 295). The latter, a half-sister to winners by Clash By Night and Marchfield, is from the same family as high-class stakes winners Steiger, Gold Gem and Amberlad, and she traces back directly in female line to the G1 winner Leta.

Former Bush Hill sire, and proven G1 producer, Toreador, has two of his last crop in this draft –a colt (Lot 215) out of a half-sister to the stakes placed Royal Bounty, and a filly (Lot 272) from the family of the stakes winning Warning Sign.

Short lived G1 Middle Park Stakes winner Crusade has three on offer, and they include a filly (Lot 148) out of a stakes placed daughter of Thunder Gulch and a filly (Lot 200) out of a Silvano half-sister to Dahlia Plate winner Juan Two Three.

Other appealing lots in the Bush Hill draft include a Mogok colt (Lot 133) from the family of Caughtintheslips and Doosra, a Noble Tune colt (Lot 304) whose dam is a Kahal half-sister to 3 stakes winners, and a Jackson filly (Lot 345) out of Lady’s Pendant winner Snow Angel.
